Hearts & Hammers - Helping Families Build Their Future
I’m honored to be leading our Hearts & Hammers team for Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna’s Women Build 2026 — an organization and mission that I have loved supporting for many years.
As someone whose career has centered around helping people achieve the dream of homeownership, Habitat for Humanity’s vision has always held a special place in my heart. I deeply believe in their mission of providing a “hand up, not a handout,” empowering families through affordable homeownership, hard work, and the opportunity to build a better future.
This year, we’re helping build a duplex home for two local families right here in our community. A safe and stable home can truly change the direction of someone’s life. It provides security, stability for children, and a foundation where families can grow, dream, and create a brighter future together.
While volunteers provide much of the labor, building materials still need to be purchased to make these homes possible. Every donation — no matter the size — helps keep these homes affordable for the families who will one day walk through those front doors for the very first time.
